From 2016-2019, Bethany was the leader for the Sacramento Area Rainbow Families.

Bethany has helped pass historic state and federal legislation in health care, women’s issues, nutrition, senior issues, and for the LGBTQ community. She also worked with former Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) from 2009-2014.
