I get so happy when my clients invest in their advocacy program and hire a lobbyist. A successful advocacy program is not possible without an experienced lobbyist.

 

However, organizations often have trouble assessing how a lobbyist will work with their members or advocates. 

 

Understanding how a lobbyist approaches the involvement of your advocates, donors, members, and other stakeholders is imperative and will help you gauge how you’ll work with a particular lobbyist or firm.
