You’d think, as someone with a women’s studies background, an advanced degree in public policy, and a career in advocacy, that I would have a pretty solid grasp on the suffrage movement.
So when I saw the musical Suffs a few weekends ago, I expected to enjoy it. Maybe even learn a few new details and feel inspired in a general, historical sense.
